On this extra special day, The Sun decided to come and and celebrate the birth of Davis!
We had to take advantage of the lovely day so Mom, Dad and Davis decided to play at ALL the parks in the neighborhood. Davis LOVES going to the playground. Especially when there a lots of other kids playing. The best is when a Dog makes an appearance.
This was fun for about the 4 seconds Davis lasted on it!
The tube at the park was a huge hit. In this picture Davis is admiring an older girl playing next to him. After this we headed down to play with Clara at the park by her house. Davis Loves the ladies!
Then it came time for the Birthday cake Dad made for Davis.
Davis felt out the cake and decided the best plan of attack was to just jump in and take a bite.

Finally the demolishment of the cake that was quickly followed by an nice bath. It was a mess but hey, you only turn one once! We love you Davis!!!! You are the best kid in the world and we have enjoyed absolutely every moment of your life!

Wow, what a great birthday. The only thing that would have made it better would be for us to be there to enjoy it with you. I remember celebrating your first week birthday. We had chocolate cake!
