Sunny in Seattle

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful! Sunny is Seattle in January. If you are not aware, this usually does not happen. Just incase you are in Seattle in January and the sun is out, don't be fooled, it is still very, very chilly. Davis and I didn't care, we like every other person in the Pacific Northwest had to get out in the sun. It has been months and months since we have been to one of the 3 parks directly across the street from our house. Davis and I were so excited. We threw on our jackets and went for a walk. As you know Davis is now a walker, not so much a baby but more and more a little boy. We hit up the toddler park down the hill from us first. Davis climbed all over the equiptment and loved climbing up the slide. We even got Lucky and a Dog from across the street came out to play. After a good 45 minutes at this park we decided to climb up the hill to the park across the street from our house to visit the baby swings. Davis really wanted out of the swings so he could play with all of the big kids in the park and try to eat the wood chips on the ground. I'm sure everyone is reading this thinking so what you went to the park, been there done that a thousand times with my kids. Today was special to us. It was the day Davis played like a big kid. It really made me realize that he is growing fast and I need to savour every moment with him. Now all Davis needs is some visitors!!! Come and Play! We will provide the parks!

I made reservations yesterday to come and play. Give Davis a big hug and kiss for me and tell him Grandma will be there to play on the 13th.

What a great day. The best things in life come in "moments". I am glad you are writing it down, because I can guarantee you will forget soooo very many precious moments....things you swore you could never forget. All my little girls are such good little mommies. Davis is so very cute, he doesn't seem old enough and big enough to walk!

The only thing brighter than the sunshine in those pictures is the smile on my grandson's face and the joy in Cindy's words. I love all 4 of you. We not only have no sunshine we have several inches of the white stuff. It is just a quiet afternoon...Love

I love the picture of Davis with the dog - so cute! You might have to add a puppy to the Keddington family for Davis to play with.
